Thoughts are the most powerful tool someone can use to change their life. Everything that we are today is because of our thoughts. All the things around us were once just thoughts which later became reality and turned the world into a better place for humanity. So, if you want to change your life and work towards a better one, it all starts from your thoughts. Your thoughts are not only your beliefs but also closely connected to your feelings and emotions. Since humans consist of both body and soul, what we think plays a significant role in our physical and mental well-being.
There is a saying that goes, man becomes what he thinks about. If you constantly think about junk food, your health will naturally mirror that mindset. Sure, it’s tough to turn away from tempting treats like mouthwatering desserts, cheesy pizza, or burgers but if you set your mind towards a goal of leading a healthy lifestyle then you will be able to resist those temporary desires which offers you a momentary satisfaction and they certainly don’t contribute to long-term well-being.
On another note, have you ever thought about owning a luxury sports car and then dismissed the idea because it is too unrealistic for you to achieve? You did not believe in your thought and dream so it is obvious that you won’t achieve it. You see, thought and belief works closely together. We imagine something and in order for it to manifest into reality we need to believe in it. Now, let’s look at a real-life scenario. Someone’s goal is to be financially stable, yet all that they think about is their depts so their focus most of the time remains on that. As a result, all that they get is more depts. If they wish to break free from this cycle, they should shift their thoughts away from debt and channel their mental energy toward their true desire: achieving financial stability.
This brings me to another important point: the more we think about something, the more we are drawn towards it and this applies to every aspect in life, including thinking about positive things. It can be hard to only think positively the whole time isn’t it? Sometimes, it might even feel like we’re pretending, as we’re not fully embracing our genuine feelings. It’s important to acknowledge our negative thoughts, yet not let them consume our energy. If a situation is beyond our control, then why should we even think about it? That’s an instance of overthinking which can be detrimental to our mental health.
The key to naturally cultivate a positive mindset is by being genuinely happy. It’s not a difficult task; you should give it a shot if you haven’t already. IIf you genuinely believe you can achieve great things in life, you’re more likely to do so. Positive thoughts hold a unique power, connected to a higher vibration that attracts similar outcomes into our lives. It’s quite normal isn’t it? If you woke up happy instead of drained and you are ready to take over the day with a smile on your face then you will actually be able to get through the day in a high vibrational spirit. This is subject to you being able to keep that energy level throughout the day.
This is relatable to the placebo effect which was discovered centuries ago. We are led to believe that by using a certain product we will get a desired outcome but it is actually our mind and belief that does all the works so does cultivating desired thoughts will bring us the outcome and life we wish to live.
Now, another crucial aspect to consider is that thoughts consume energy. Have you ever wondered why many of us struggle to fall asleep at night? It’s often because our minds are continuously occupied with thoughts. Thinking expends energy as we construct those thoughts. So, here’s my advice: we can’t transform the world overnight, and there’s little use in fixating on matters that don’t require our attention. Once an idea is born in your mind, it’s equally important to release it and allow the universe to play its role. Holding onto it will only take you farther from it.
Lastly, your friends and family play significant roles in shaping your thoughts. There are no absolute right or wrong answers regarding how you choose to lead your life. However, if you aspire to achieve success, health, wealth, and happiness, there is undoubtedly a correct approach to realizing these aspirations. If your thoughts are not attuned to a higher frequency that aligns with your aspirations, you’ll find yourself distant from your goals. It’s crucial to remember that each person is unique, and the same applies to your family and friends. You will notice that your thoughts are the same as the people you are surrounded by most of the time. That is why it is said to always surround yourself with those whose beliefs aligns with yours.
