We endured lockdowns, worked from home, refrained from traveling, and were separated from our loved ones. Amid the pandemic, we were granted the opportunity to spend more time with our families, our pets, and, most importantly, ourselves. Instead of dwelling on the negative side, let us accept the lessons change is trying to teach us and strive to create a better world through positive transformations.
However, there will be times when you don’t feel like leaving your bed, going out, or even accomplishing ordinary tasks. But remember, we are only human… We should not run away from our lows; instead, we must accept them because they represent our current situation. When we try to avoid or suppress our emotions, we unintentionally nurture feelings that may weigh heavily on us in the future.
So, let it be. Allow yourself to feel overwhelmed, sad, disappointed, and cry if you need to, for these emotions are a natural part of being human.
